My SA – Dave Gleeson

In 2016 at The Gov in Hindmarsh, fun-loving rebel rocker – Dave Gleeson was inducted into The South Australian Music Hall of Fame, alongside The Angels.

As the front-man of two iconic rock bands – The Screaming Jets and The AngelsGleeso is an Australian rock legend. Newcastle born and bred, he and his family moved to South Australia almost 14 years ago and now call the Adelaide Hills home.

With no signs of slowing down, Dave is a busy man. The Jets released a new album ‘Chrome’ to huge success in 2016, and have another set to drop in 2018 called ‘Gotcha Covered – Great Australian Songbook’. This will be a collection of Aussie radio classics and live anthems performed with the unmistakable attitude of The Jets.

This year is also the 40th Anniversary of The Angels’ legendary album ‘Face-to-Face’. As part of the celebrations, The Angels and Adelaide’s own Symphony Orchestra are set to rock in a symphonic spectacular: Symphony of Angels.

Featuring more than 35 musicians on stage and a choir, the extravaganza will take you through The Angels’ greatest works: Take A Long LineMarseilles, After The RainBe With You and Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again to name a few.

It will be held on Saturday July 28th at the Festival Theatre. Be there!
