West Beach Parks has recently expanded and rebranded taking over the precincts golfing facilities. They’ve spruced up the Driving Range, making this a fun and affordable outing for those wanting to perfect their swing or to catch up with friends and stay active.
For as little as $5 for 25 balls, anyone can come out and have a swing. So why not line up at the 16 bay driving range and have a bit of fun! Or, if time permits, play a whole round on either of their 2 beautiful public courses – the Patawalonga or the short course.
CEO Kate Williams believes this experience suits most people to a tee. “Everyone can do it. And that’s the great thing about a driving range. You can be 7 years old or you can be 80 years old, there’s something for everyone. It can be a day trip for people; they don’t need to be staying with us. We’ve got mini golf, we’ve got mega-adventure, and we’ve got our own driving range here where you can come and hit a bucket of balls, have a great day out.”
Just over the road is West Beach Mini Golf. Golfers usually strive for birdies, eagles and albatrosses….but here you’ll find sharks, polar bears, pirates and penguins at this fun 18 hole course! It’s fair to say that both big and little kids love Mini Golf. And, around here won’t break the bank either. Adults are $11, kids $9 or take a family of four for $38.
Of course – bragging rights are priceless. But that’s not all; don’t leave West Beach Parks without heading next door to Mega Adventure to check out their latest heart racing addition – the Giant Swing! Soaring at 70 kilometres an hour, with a swing of over 58 metres, it’s a fun, albeit terrifying way to fly high!
