Located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, the Adelaide Central Market is one of Australia’s largest fresh produce markets. It provides a diverse range of fresh and multi-cultural products.
A popular tourist attraction, it’s often referred to as the Central Market. Selling a wide variety of goods, including vegetables and fruit, seafood and meat, bread, cheeses and much more.
With an estimated 8 million visitors per year and over 70 traders under one roof, this vibrant shopping environment is one of Adelaide’s best-known landmarks.
Established in 1869, the Central Market continues to be a thriving hub of food and culture, even after 150 years of trading.
The Adelaide Central Market is open Tuesday to Saturdays and closed on public holidays.
